Gig Harbor

N47°19’37″~ W122°35’11”

A protected harbor since the dawn of time, you can imagine the maritime history that this place has. When you enter the harbor the magic unfolds before your eyes. You might want to take a moment… and grab a beer at the Tide’s Tavern.
A prime example of how wonderful cruising can be here in the South Sound. You will find everything you need in Gig Harbor. Shops, stores, supplies… it’s all here. You’ll also find beautiful views of Mt. Rainier while nestled in the tranquil harbor.
Gig Harbor is a true historic harbor town. Boat Building and fishing were the foundation that the town was built on. The Gig Harbor BoatShop is helping keep history and tradition alive.
GHarbor 1Gig Harbor Marina and Boatyard was started in 1905 as a fishing boat repair shop. It now offers overnight moorage and is the only marina in town that has full service haul out service. Just in case.

Arabella’s is a great spot for overnight moorage. Essentially across the street from the Old Town Waterfront and a marine supply store.
