Uni announces new appointments: Director of Development, Vice-Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Director of Science, and Professor Emeritus.

October 26 – November 2, 2018 The Faculty of Arts creates a department headed by one of its distinguished members, Professor Mary E. Smith, who will lead an academic and research committee.

December 22 – January 26, 2019 Faculty-wide consultations begin for new academic, research and departmental initiatives to strengthen the university as a space of knowledge and innovation.

January 13, 2019 All members of the departme?????nt and all staff and students are invited to attend a reception and/or discussion on December 20, 2016, sponsored by the department and the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. This was facilitated by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.

February 21, 2019 In commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the creation of the MOS and to encourage new students to apply to the Faculty, the Faculty of Arts and Sciences announces that it has opened a new Student Application and Research Center, and the Faculty invites new applications, or those who already submitted a proposal, to submit a single copy of their application and/or their proposal to the new department by the deadline.

March 1, 2019 The MOS will conduct a study to study the relationship between the University of Wisconsin System leadership and the faculty as it relates to the overall diversity and inclusiveness of the Department of Arts and Sciences. The results of the study are to be made available to the faculty in late April 2018. The Department of Arts and Sciences is conducting this study with the involvement of the Department’s academic advisor, the Chair of the Department, the Dean of Arts and Sciences, the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Administration, and faculty advisors, to prepare the results for publication by the January 1, 2020, deadline.

March 4, 2019 During the last day of their March meeting, all members of the Department of Arts and Sciences discuss the current environment at the University of Wisconsin System that is negatively affecting the quality of academic work and quality of life for all students annatyasastra.comd faculty.

March 8-10, 2019 During the second annual UW-AIMR Conference, the Graduate Program for Professional Development (GPDP) faculty participate in two workshops. Both workshops were facilitated by the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and will have presentations, hands-on sessions with students and staff, and professional development. These two workshops will provide a foundation for the next phase of the GPDP’s strategy for?????? strengthening the department through
